Alexandra Evans, Founder

Alexandra is recognised as a global thought leader on the impact of technology on children and childhood. She has played a determinative role in shaping standards on age-appropriate design (including safety, privacy and wellbeing) and has first-hand experience applying these standards to the design of digital products and services.

Her perspective has been shaped by her work as a content regulator (BBFC), as a child online safety advocate (5Rights Foundation) and within a global tech company (TikTok).  Before focusing on childhood and digital, Alexandra was a lawyer (Mishcon de Reya) specialising in discrimination and human rights, reputation management and education law.

The Digital Families Agency reflects Alexandra’s deep commitment to listening to children and finding child-centred solutions to digital safety and wellbeing challenges. She is passionate about helping children live more harmoniously and happily with technology.

As a mother of three, Alexandra is a veteran of many tech-related battles with her own children and loves sharing her knowledge and expertise to help parents navigate the minefield that is digital parenting.
